Meet Amy
Amy Diediker is a dedicated Kansan, former elementary music educator and proud Olathe mom of three running for the Kansas State Board of Education.
For over 20 years, Amy has been an advocate for students, families, and strong public schools in her community. As a former public school educator and a parent in Olathe Public Schools, she understands the challenges and opportunities facing Kansas classrooms.
Amy’s advocacy became deeply personal when her daughter was diagnosed with a rare disease affecting her mobility. Navigating 504 plans, accessibility needs, and a range of educational options gave Amy a deeper understanding of the complexities many families face and the critical role strong schools and supportive educators play in students’ lives.
Those experiences strengthened Amy’s commitment to ensuring every Kansas child has access to high-quality schools, safe and supportive learning environments, and opportunities that prepare them for college, careers, and life. She is dedicated to supporting educators, improving student outcomes, and making thoughtful, evidence-based decisions that put students and families first.
Join Amy in strengthening Kansas public education — because when our schools succeed, Kansas succeeds.
